Whether you’re holding the door for a stranger, yielding to the person trying to make a turn in a long line of cars, grabbing a co-worker a cup of coffee when you know they’re having a stressful day or simply saying thank you to the person who helped check you out at the grocery store, random acts of kindness are a two way street.
Don’t discount the way it makes others feel when you do something nice (or just observe common courtesy) and certainly don’t ignore the way it makes you feel. I can’t speak for anyone else but I feel a bit happier and a little brighter when I do something little for someone else. Lets be honest, was it really all that much of an imposition – not likely!
I encourage you to do something little for someone else today – whether it be someone you know or a stranger, and take note of the way it makes you feel!
Make it a great day!
